How To Properly Apply Nail Polish

By Jennifer Wilson

Women are really on top when it comes to making sure they always look their best every single day. They use products and cosmetics which will help them achieve improvements they desire like make up to accentuate their facial features and make it look prettier than it already is. They have routines every day that maintains their healthy skin and hair even when exposed to dusts and sunlight. They even go through regular salon just to repaint their nails in different color every single week or two. And there are many types of things they can stick to their ten tiny canvasses to make it cuter, one of the most popular ones are those chrome nail polish.

These types of polish are special and fab looking as they are metallic and shiny. They look great when light hits through it because it reflects and shines in beautiful colors. But, before putting such kind of paints on nails, one should do some preparation on it so applying it would look even better.

Of course, just like painting the shaping of fingernails are equally important. Go grab the nail cutter and nail file out of shelf and start forming the nails on whatever shape preferred. Make sure to trim them equally in length so that nothing looks off when showing them.

To make it level and have the polished finish product, buff the nails. It will remove any ridges on the surface but make sure to not overdo this procedure. It may create too much friction built upon on its surfaces which may result to weakening them instead of making it look cute.

After doing all these on all ten fingernails, wash the hands entirely with water and soap. This is to remove those dirt which were stuck on the hands and nails. Dry them afterwards so that the action will be up next. Prepare the chrome colors that will be used and make sure to choose those product which are highly reliable with a good quality.

Apply base coat first on every fingernails then allow that to dry. This step must be something not forgotten or neglected because it has two purpose. One, it improves the longevity of the color making it cling to nails more while it protects them from dark stains they may absorbed when applied directly.

Let the base coat dry before applying the first coat of the chrome polish and let that dry. Because there is a base coated initially, it tends to make the color somehow be lighter than it naturally is. So, applying for a second layer is possible but optional. The preference of a person would still mater on such steps.

When doing the application, maintain one stroke motion only and do not repetitively stroke the brush. This will leave brush vertical brush lines that will damage its entire look. It is something off and unappealing so better do the brushing three strokes only.

Right after the preferred layers are applied, then put the top coat as it dries. This will protect the top colors from being ruined when exposed to water or some chores. After that, have the edges cleaned from smudges of polish.
